To use mail merge to create a batch of gift certificates or coupons with tracking numbers, you need to set up a data source that contains a column listing the tracking numbers. If you plan to add only the tracking numbers to your publications, create a data source for the tracking numbers. If you also plan to use mail merge to insert additional information into your publications, such as customer names or addresses, you can add the column of tracking numbers to a data source that also lists the name and address data that you want to use.

Create an Excel worksheet that has as many numbers in it as you need. For instance, if you need 175 labels, you would place a title in cell A1 (such as “Number”) and the 175 numbers you need in cells A2 through A176. Make sure you save the workbook.

Some states have a list of prohibited items, such as animals and alcohol, so check the laws in your area to ensure that you comply. Many community businesses will donate prizes for the raffle; all you have to do is ask. They’re generally willing to do that because they understand the goodwill that is generated from their contribution efforts. To make your raffle give-away as easy as possible, consider the 50/50 raffle, where 50% of the proceeds generated from ticket sales goes to the drawn winner of the raffle, and 50% goes to the organization raising the funds. Besides being easy to award the prize, it also eliminates the hassle of securing merchandise. You’ll need to decide on a selling price. You don’t want to price them too high so that many people would find it too expensive. The lower the price of each ticket, the more tickets you’ll sell. If you price your tickets at $1 each, expect each buyer to purchase from one to five tickets. If your tickets are $5-10 each, each buyer will likely purchase no more that two.

This video tutorial demonstrates how easy it is to automatically number raffle tickets in Microsoft Word. Simply download a raffle tickets template, download our number series file, and Mail Merge to create the ticket numbers.

Now, you’ll define the actual merge values. In this case, it’s the Ticket Numbers field in the selected Excel workbook. Drag the Ticket Numbers field from the merge pane to the document (Figure G). After dropping the field control, I pressed [Enter] to replace Microsoft with the <> field.

An ‘incidental non-commercial lottery’ doesn’t require any permissions or licences. These are held at non-commercial events, such as school fêtes. All ticket sales and draws must take place during the event.

(If you prefer using the keyboard, rather than the mouse, then do this instead of dragging down: select cell A2, hit CTRL+C to copy, then select cell A3 and use SHIFT+PageDown to select all the way down to row 500. Then hit CTRL+V to paste.)

(Advanced) opens the Filter and Sort dialog box, which you can use to filter using multiple criteria. You also can click Filter under Refine recipient list in the Mail Merge Recipients dialog box to open the Filter and Sort dialog box.

Next, choose a font and font size for the number (select the code with your mouse and change the font), and add other body text and formatting. Finally, merge the label, card, or sheet “x” times with the LABLCOPY macro (found here in the Library). You’ll get consecutively numbered labels/cards/sheets — as many as you need.

Creating a sequential list of numbers, in Word, sounds like an intimidating task. Sure, you can create a numbered list quickly enough, but that feature works with additional text – you’re numbering something. If you want a list of just numbers, you have to work a bit harder. Word’s SEQ field might come to mind, but that solution is better suited to template-type numbering. In order words, this field works great if you’re numbering documents, labels, and so on. It doesn’t work so well if you just want to create a list of sequential numbers. You can use it that way, but it’ll be more work than it’s worth.

Your raffle might be subject to gaming commission or tax laws. Check with your municipality, state or province, and federal governments to make sure your raffle is legal. These government departments aren’t just enforcers. They are often great resources on how to run a successful fund raising raffle. Raffles are fun! Getting in trouble with the law or tax man is not.

It is beneficial to have a variety of prizes to include on the raffle ticket template so they appeal to a diverse population of attendees. Many businesses or volunteers will be willing to donate prize items.

Im speechless. This is a superb blog and very enticing too. Great work! Thats not in point of fact so much coming from an amateur publisher like me, however its all I may say after diving into your posts. Nice grammar and vocabulary. No longer like other blogs. You really recognize what you?re speaking approximately too. So much that you just made me want to explore more. Your weblog has grow to be a stepping stone for me, my friend.

My quick process involves setting up a row of plaques with a01, a02, a03, thru a09. Then copy the plaques to the clipboard. Run the REPLACE TEXT feature to replace “a” with “1”. Move row down and paste clipboard back into page. Run REPLACE TEXT to replace “a” with “2”. Repeat until I get all the numbers. It’s faster than manually typing sequential numbering in word numbers in but I know there’s go to be someway of automating the process.

The very first step you need to do is to drag your cursor towards the Help icon in the new word document. This icon usually appears in the right part of the top portion of the tool bar listing. It is depicted by a question mark symbol. You have to left click on this menu with your mouse and you need to opt from the type of help listed in the drop-down carte du jour. In this tutorial, we’ll explain how to do an easy setup in InDesign for automatically numbered raffle tickets. We will look at the handy “Data Merge Tool,” which is a great time-saver. Let’s jump into this quick tutorial!

Before selling, try to raise as much awareness about your raffle as you can. Flyers are easy to distribute and display – download yours from our free raffle flyer template page. Choose places where you expect a lot of foot traffic. Not only can you hand them out to passersby, but with the right permissions, you can display flyers in store windows and other prominent locations. Finally, it’s time to start selling! Where do you go to make as many sales as you possibly can?

Once you’re sure that the legal bases are covered, you’ll want to be sure that your raffle tickets make running the show easy and successful. Printing your own tickets can help. It could save you money and it gives you complete control over how your tickets look.

Other venues: To expand your selling efforts, consider any and every place where there’s a lot of foot traffic. You can sell raffle tickets at church potlucks, outside of convenience stores and drugstores (with permission), and at PTA meetings.

4.  Type tool, place insertion cursor in the first text frame on page 1, (remember this frame is on the Master), apply your paragraph style you’ve just created, press and hold Return button as this will apply Paragraph Style and the cursor will jump to next frame.

On a fax receipt, the airline code and ticket number is located in the middle of the page. In this example, you would enter 2100075657 in the ticket number box. The 001 is already provided to the left of the box if American Airlines is selected as the airline flown. Enter the 3-digit airline code preceding the ticket number if any other airline is selected.

I have used their raffle ticket services going on 3 years and they are a pleasure to work with. They made ordering and re-ordering simple and easy and just placed another order. I would recommend them to anyone. Tod G.

Yes, it is a pain to reprint one or two sheets if you have closed the file. I’ve learned to leave the file open on the desktop until the tickets are finished. This way if the perf, or cutter messes up I can easily reprint those ticket numbers without re-aligning the art & numbering.

If you have already developed a set of specific code numbers that you want to use to track and categorize customer responses, you can type these numbers into a column of the data source that you plan to use for the mail merge.

Subsequently you have to select the template named Raffle tickets 6 per page. Microsoft Word will make available a preview of the chosen template and then inquires whether you wish to download the particular template. Now choose the option to download. Consequently your current word document gets replaced with the template of raffle ticket which is ready to undergo editing in your hand.

To print tickets with Word, create a table that fills the entire page, create each ticket with text and clip art, then go to “Insert,” click on “Field,” select “Numbering” and then “Sequential” to number each ticket. Create sequential tickets in a Word document with a tutorial from a computer consultant in this free video on computer programs.

I am trying to create Raffle Style tickets using Avery 16154 ticket stock.  I am working in Adobe InDesign CC.  Can someone tell me how to create sequentially numbered tickets in Adobe InDesign CC (I have found it for other versions which don’t work in CC). I need a ticket number on the “stub” and the same matching number on the tear off portion.  They are 10 tickets to an 8.5 X 11 page.

Add specific codes to coupons to track customer responses     Use different codes for your different marketing messages, advertisements, or promotions. These codes will enable you to keep track of how customers learned about your offer. The more you learn about who is drawn to your business and what attracts customers’ attention, the better you can focus future marketing efforts.

In this example, I will create a set of plates that will be put on each classroom door in a local high school. All plates will have the same logo, but each plate will have a different classroom number and subject.

Is this quite beyond InDesign CS3? If it is solvable the solution isn’t mentioned in any CS3 book I have managed to get hold of, nor is it dealt with in the CS3 Help facility as far as I can see, nor were the speakers at a recent Adove CS3 Workshop able to solve it. Please advise this frustrated book author! Being the printer, I can’t say I pass the job on to the printer.:-) We do it using auto page numbering, export it as one big pdf, and then use our imposition program to lay the file up multiple times on a page. A lot of jobs we do leave the number blank, and use the numbering machine later, but we’re getting more and more jobs that are run on digital presses like the Docucolor 250 and have numbers too small for the numberer, so we have to do them in the file. This works fine for single-sided jobs, but when a job numbers on one side, but not the other, it gets tricky, especially if it’s NCR, which has to be duplexed.

It is beneficial to have a variety of prizes to include on the raffle ticket template so they appeal to a diverse population of attendees. Many businesses or volunteers will be willing to donate prize items.

Select the Text Tool (T) and start dragging a text box that will wrap around the whole ticket including the crop marks. This is very important since the Data Merge will automatically calculate the duplication. Then open up the Text Frame Option (Command + B) and set the Inset spacing to 1p4 for the top and 1p8 for the left. Of course, you can place the text for the numbers anywhere you like. I set the numbers to a small text.

After the grid of numbers is done, you need to insert a new row at the top to hold the field labels (Stack 1, stack 2, stack 3… or whatever) and then save as .csv or tab delimited text to use as the Data Source file for the merge.

Use scissors or a paper cutter to cut the tickets, leaving each set intact. When a person buys a ticket, the seller should separate the tickets right then, giving one ticket to the buyer and dropping the other ticket into the receptacle from which the winning ticket will be drawn.

Summary: If you need to include serial numbers in your printed matter (labels, letters, documents, etc.), the best way is through the use of Word’s mail-merge capabilities. This tip outlines how you can use this capability to get just the serial numbers you need. (This tip works with Microsoft Word 97, Word 2000, Word 2002, Word 2003, and Word 2007.)

I want to make 300 numbered tickets for an event. The number on one side must match the number on the stub end that is given to the ticket holder. What is the best way to set up a document to do this without having to manually enter 300 numbers?

Now it’s time to edit all the text to check for the exact date, rewards and prizes. You can modify or delete whatever is not applicable. Care has to taken to highlight significant words in the text of the template. There are even options to change the style and size of the font of your characters.

If you’re producing any kind of numbered items in-house that are multiple-up on a sheet where you need to control all the variables to meet your production needs, the autonumbering feature through numbered lists is the way to go! Just step and repeat away & InDesign will do all the work. No need to fool with a seperate “numbers” file or deal with a data merged document. I think it’s by far the best option for basic numbering.

Now you are ready to begin inserting your data. To make everything easier, please be sure to have your Mail Merge Toolbar visible. You can enable it by going to Tools > Letters and Mailings > Show Mail Merge Toolbar (displayed in step 3 of this document)

Use CorelDraw to layout the raffle ticket template. You can use the label design tool (located under “Page Setup” on the “Layout” menu) to create a raffle ticket template. For instance, if you choose a label template with four boxes in a row, the first and third boxes contain the raffle ticket while the second and fourth boxes represent the ticket stub. After choosing your desired label size, enter text and images to create the custom template, then print the document on card stock paper instead of label paper.

Note: Keep in mind that what you are saving is not the set of coupons or gift certificates that you have printed. Rather, you are saving the publication with its connection to your data source and its placeholder fields. By saving the publication, you can quickly create another set of coupons or gift certificates when the need arises. The publication maintains the link to the data source that you connected it to so that you can jump ahead to the previewing step.

You don’t need to be so much worried about how you will get the prizes to award the winners. In each community there are certain organizations or businesses that recognize the importance and the hustle that one goes through in selling the raffle tickets, these businesses or organizations will be quite instrumental in catering for the prizes. Alternatively you could choose to have a 50/50 raffle which implies that half of the donations or cash will have to be given to the winner of the chosen raffle ticket and the remaining amount will be retained by the organization or group which was responsible for the sale of the raffle tickets. This kind of arrangement is common among the youth and the surrounding community is mostly receptive and helpful to those raising the funds.

Example: TEST010111 start: 9 how long is the number-string? 5 > TEST00009,TEST00010 and so on every marked object with the specified objectname will get the new string. I have another script that places the marked object(s) in a user-sized sheet after editing the quantity X and Y and the space between the objects.

(This is helpful if you are pre-selling your tickets because your seller can retain the stub portion for record keeping. If you prefer no stub, place your order and select “tickets with no stub”. In either case, your proof will show a standard stub but your Admission Tickets will either have no stub or one with the information you requested.

Do the same for the second ticket number placeholder. Most tickets will have two number placeholders because one part of the ticket is for the raffle host (you) and the other is for the purchaser.

It depends what the design is for the tickets. But if you set up primary text frames, linked for the area for the numbers, you can create a numbered list with the numbering format you want. Then, just pour in a whole load of paragraph returns that have that numbered list applied. And make sure each numbered paragraph is set to start in the next column.

The task of producing numbered tickets in Microsoft Word might seem pretty tough and strenuous especially for those people who are not skilled and trained in using Word files. There are quite a lot of people who have been left disappointed, disheartened and exasperated by their failures in attempting to explore how to create tickets for an event using Word templates. Many unanswered queries, doubts and confusions might have stood in the path of your success.

I know that PrintShopMail will do it, but I was wandering if there was a less expensive solution out there so that I could get numbered tickets (usually 4-up) right off the Xerox. I just want to avoid having to go the the Windmill after trimming and doing it the old fashion way. There is a tiny little copy shop here in town that is doing it, and am willing to bet that they are not using PrintShopMail, but I’m also not going to ask them to share their methods with a competitor. There has to be cheaper solution. I know that I can do it with auto page numbering in Indesign, but that means I can only print raffle tickets 1-up which wont work.

6. Open a new blank document in Word. Create two raffle ticket designs, one for the person who buys the ticket and one for the organization selling them. Make sure to connect the two tickets, for example by making them in two-cell tables, side-by-side. Include the name of the organization, perhaps the first prize, and any other information you want on the buyer’s ticket. You might, for example, include spaces for the buyer’s name (‘Name__________’) and phone number on the organization’s ticket. On both tickets, enter a dummy number for the raffle ticket number as a placeholder.

When you have multiple tickets per page, you need to use a different numbering scheme. This link show how to use a merge with an Excel spreadsheet to create incrementing numbers: Publisher Auto-number Tickets Here’s another page on the same topic: Numbered Tickets in Publisher

Highlight your placeholder. Again, Remember, for Raffle tickets, you will have two placeholders. One for the ticket itself, and the other which is for the piece that is given to the individual who purchases the raffle ticket. This is where you want your sequential numbers to appear on your ticket.

Next we will import our pre-designed raffle image. For the purpose of this tutorial we will be using a pdf that was created using Adobe Illustrator (Download pdf File). Place this pdf into the document by going to (File > Place) browse from the file and click Open.

Write in the information. The sort of information you put onto each ticket varies from raffle to raffle. What matters most is that all tickets are consistent. Except for the ticket number, which should vary from each ticket, each ticket should be roughly the same. While the tickets should be customized to fit the event, here are some details you almost certainly want to have:

If you got to the end of these instructions, then well done you! If skipped to bottom, then maybe consider trying this online tool to design and print your own raffle tickets without battling with Excel and Publisher! Thanks I have my word ticket page set up with the code you gave me. Thank you in advance. I need to set up the mail merge so I can print blocks of tickets off as I need them. How do I go about setting this up? Do I have to have a stub, ticket format like the original ticket format?

Now for the tricky bit. Mail Merges usually have the one ‘recipient’ per page. So Word won’t pick out the next number in your list until it gets to a new page. By default, it’ll print you four tickets on each page, all with the same number. Then a new page, all with the next number. Etc.

My script looks for the object-name and replaces all the numbers at the end of the text-string. Example: TEST010111 start: 9 how long is the number-string? 5 > TEST00009,TEST00010 and so on every marked object with the specified objectname will get the new string. I have another script that places the marked object(s) in a user-sized sheet after editing the quantity X and Y and the space between the objects.

I am printing many pages of tickets. Each page has 5 tickets and I would like to sequentially put a number on each ticket. I have tried to use the auto page numbering feature but that is putting the same number on each of the 5 tickets and then increments for the next page — not what I need. Also, can the numbering not suppress the leading zeroes? Thanks….

Nicole – I’m not sure. Are the page and margin settings (from step 1) definitely correct? If each ticket was a little too big, so that only two tickets could be fitted on each sheet of paper, that might create the problem you’ve experienced. Other than that, I’m baffled …

data merge can be a little tricky for this. Try making a single ticket at the top of your page (not on the master page). Put your merge fields into this ticket. Then when using data merge click the option to put more then one per a page, preview and see if this does what you want it to do. Granted if you have double sided printing, data merge gets very tricky, but can be done.

Numbergen was designed to create lists of number for you and there are two versions of it available. The original version runs inside of your Web browser. You can find this free version and some tutorial movies showing it in use at Numbering Invoices and Raffle Tickets with Print Merge and Numbergen.

I already created a background image (in EPS format, which is available to Vector Plus members in the download). Select the Rectangle Frame Tool (F) from the tools palette and drag a rectangle onto the page. sequential numbering click Command + D and locate the image (in this case an image that you chose to use as a background for the tickets).

wow, what a relief to find these solutions! I had to gang 250 stickers on a single page and number them sequentially (so, page numbering and master page solutions wouldn’t work). The tips for Indd ‘numbered lists’ worked like a charm, even tho I’m in CS5. This was a lifesaver; MANY thanks!

Start writing the text for the numbers. In this case, I typed ticket “nr.” Leave any numbers out. This will be filled in by the data file. As you can see, the text box wraps around the full tickets with crop marks.

Fill in the information. Much like making your tickets by hand, you’ll need to input information for the tickets. Because you’re doing it via computer, it will be faster to make the tickets consistent. Write in the basic information into the template you’re using. The individual ticket number can be either written in or sequenced via a program like Microsoft Publisher.[6] Although specifics will vary between raffle events, here are some things you’ll absolutely want on each ticket:

Make sure that your graphics are on point. Good graphics are inseparable from a good movie ticket template. Most movie lovers would settle for an eye catching movie ticket compared to a plain one, so spending your time in searching for an intriguing and catchy movie ticket template will come with high rewards.

It’s a random number generator that can pick the numbers for your raffle. It’s specifically designed for raffles that use cloakroom style tickets. Main features: – It can be used to pick the numbers for up to 500 prizes. – Each prize can have a description attached which is displayed along with the number.

While you don’t want to waste anyone’s time intentionally, it may be helpful to contact a few places. It’s possible you’ll be able to snag a better deal if the company is open to wholesale bargaining.

Once you’re sure that the legal bases are covered, you’ll want to be sure that your raffle tickets make running the show easy and successful. Printing your own tickets can help. It could save you money and it gives you complete control over how your tickets look.

To save your design, click the Save button. In the pop-up window, create a file name and save to either your free MyAvery online account or to your computer. To go back and open your saved projects, just go to avery.com/print.

If you’re planning on organizing raffle-drawing activities, you’ll need, first and foremost, a raffle ticket. Here, we present you with the best raffle ticket templates the Internet has to offer, fit for every party and occasion!

To make more numbers, just duplicate this frame. Every time you make a new frame, InDesign increments the number automatically. Note that in the following image, the frames are not threaded together: Master Pages You may be tempted to place this number on a master page.

Family and friends: Start close to home. People who know you, and like you, are more likely to buy from you. Fundraiser Insight says you should sell “face-to-face because it’s harder to turn someone down when they’re standing right in front of you.”

To make sure people get their prizes, give them lots of room to print their name, address, and phone number. Some people are leery about giving out their address, but do make sure you get a printed name and phone number.

In the Mail Merge task pane, in the list under Prepare your publication, locate the field name that corresponds to the column heading for the list of tracking numbers in your data source. For example, if you used Tracking Number as the column heading for the list of tracking numbers in your spreadsheet, locate Tracking Number. Drag the tracking number field into the text box that you created for it.

It should be mentioned that perforating tickets yourself is a pretty time-consuming ordeal, especially if you’re going through a lot of raffle tickets. If you want to save money by going DIY, it can make your product more professional. However, if the funds are available, it is easier to go ahead and get them done by a third-party.

I had wanted to create a file that didn’t require Excel as the data source, so I created one using SEQ fields. It was terrible and too huge to mention (thanks Doug Robbins), so I recreated it using Word as the data source so that people who only have Word can use it. You can create up to 5,000 tickets without changing the data file. If you only have Word and need to create more than 5,000 tickets, please don’t type the ticket numbers. Just drop me an email and I’ll create another data file for you with the required numbers.

10. Back in the document, select your dummy number in the first ticket. Click the button ‘Insert Merge Field,’ then select the one entry in the drop-down menu, which will be the first number from your spreadsheet.

Raffle tickets are like a pint-sized lottery. People spend money on a ticket in the hopes of winning a prize. They are a common way for organizations and clubs to raise funds. Most of these entities find a sponsor to donate a prize, and then sell tickets giving people a chance to win the item. While a well-planned raffle can stand to earn a hefty sum, there is usually some expense in making the tickets themselves. Tickets can be made from home or ordered. Regardless how big or small your raffle is going to be, there’s always an option available to suit your needs.

I basically used Bob Levine’s method (thanks) but wanted to add some extra detail – am using CS2 which is somewhat behind CS3 in this area. David, I was very discouraged to read your response to Josh on April 28th 2008. It seems your comment was quite dismissive to him with exactly no feedback help. He seemed to be looking for some more help trying to work through what you and the other InDesign gurus discuss as a “simple process”. I to, have read through your directions while using both mac & pc platforms. I fail to find the “standard features” screen shots that you show above in either program. I too have spent several hours trying to get the sequential 3-up numbering as described.

Press Ctrl+V for each additional row of labels you want. You want enough rows of labels to meet your entire needs. Thus, if you need a total of 125 labels, and you can get 3 labels per line, you should end up with 42 rows of labels.

This video tutorial demonstrates how easy it is to automatically number raffle tickets in Microsoft Word. Simply download a raffle tickets template, download our number series file, and Mail Merge to create the ticket numbers.

In the past such a situation would make one get worried both in terms of the approach and the cost to be incurred for one to generate as many raffle tickets as possible. But the current world has made the whole process simple and faster. All you will need is your personal computer, your readily available printer and a site or a program that has readily available raffle ticket templates that you could customize for your own use. This site offers you with the best raffle ticket templates that you could use to easily and conveniently generate raffle tickets from your home. This will help you to drastically cut on the costs and the hustle that could be sequential numbering by the search for a perfect place for the design and printing of the raffle tickets.

I used the CS3 directions to number 500 tickets both at the top and bottom of each ticket 4 up on a page. This method worked great and really didn’t take very long at all. I dudplicated several spreads at a time to create my 125 pages of tickets ( 4up = a total of 500 numbered tickets). Thanks so much for the help!

Create tickets and forms of all types. Design labels, coupons, gift certificates, or any document that requires text, graphics, or serial numbering. Create and print your project from your desktop in minutes with our easy to use interface.

If you got to the end of these instructions, then well done you! If skipped to bottom, then maybe consider trying this online tool to design and print your own raffle tickets without battling with Excel and Publisher! You can design awesome tickets and print them at home, just with a few clicks, all in your web browser:

You can change the numbers in the list by restarting the sequence or by specifying a new start number. You can change the list’s style. You can do anything to this list that you can do to a normal numbered list because it is a numbered list, with one exception: the list, while easy to format, is fixed. If you delete an item, the list updates accordingly, but I haven’t found a way to add numbers.

WordTips is your source for cost-effective Microsoft Word training. (Microsoft Word is the most popular word processing software in the world.) This tip (1492) applies to Microsoft Word 97, 2000, 2002, and 2003. You can find a version of this tip for the ribbon interface of Word (Word 2007 and later) here: Sequentially Numbered Labels.

The event will set up certain prizes. Raffle tickets are then sold, and the people told to hold them until the raffle is held. Raffle tickets are then drawn randomly, and the holders of the winning tickets get a prize. While organizers can be as creative as they wish, offering bulk purchases of tickets and discounts, the basic rules stay the same. The benefit of holding raffles is that donors enjoy the anticipation of possibly winning a prize, while donating to a charity. This makes raffle tickets one of the most popular ways to earn for a nonprofit.

Design and order your tickets. Once you’ve chosen a manufacturer and are in contact with them, it will come time to solidify the specifics of your order. Some of the bigger outlets will come with pre-made ticket designs you can buy more cheaply. Custom orders may cost more, but you’ll have a ticket with a specific look for your event.[14] Make sure to give the manufacturer all the information they require. This may include:

• On the document page, override the items by Command/Ctrl-Shift-dragging over them (or clicking on them). • Select that one page and duplicate it in the Pages panel, or by choosing Layout > Pages > Duplicate Spread. • Select the original page and the duplicate and then copy those. Repeat this (select pages and duplicate) until you have enough pages. Unfortunately, InDesign isn’t exactly speedy at updating these numbers when you add a bunch of pages.

Hello Bruce, I seem to be having a different problem altogether. I created my ticket in word using logos and text boxes as needed, ticket looks great. I followed your very clear instructions but when I did the Finish & Merge I got this message, “You cannot include DATA, NEXT, NEXTIF, or SKIPIF fields in comments, headers, footers, footnotes or endnotes.” I then click on OK and get this, “A field calculation error occurred in record 1. Bruce any help would be much appreciated. Thank you!!

Fourth, distribute the raffle tickets. Be sure to have ticket holders write their information on the half of the ticket meant for this purpose then drop the tickets into a container. When it is time for the drawing, pull out a ticket and read the number to determine a winner.

Thanks everyone for your time and comments. What I was hoping to avoid was having to render out every ticket inDesign before printing. Seems like that is unavoidable. I’ll try the way you folks have suggested, thanks again.

Good morning! Directions are clear for sure but when i go to merge the first ticket is one but the second number on the raffle ticket is two. i have four raffle tickets per page the first three are messed up but the forth is correct all the way down to 500. Any ideas? i have tried with a header and without a header. i even made the first number with a formula. it does work with out putting next record but like you said it is four tickets with the same number and that would use a ton of ink. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A very common usage for the Print Merge function in CorelDRAW is for adding numbers to tickets or invoices. Unfortunately it can be a bit of a hassle to create the list of numbers. When you have multiple tickets on a single printed sheet, it becomes even more complex as you want each stack of tickets to be in numerical order.

I left the office and it was at around 83% done and it had taken 2 hours to get there. I’m going to have to set these up a few times a year for events and stuff like that and I need a better flow for any type of setup (4up, 3up, whatever up etc.).

In the Mail Merge Recipients dialog box, you can select the tracking codes that you want to include in the merge. Select the check boxes next to the records that you want to include, and clear the check boxes next to the records that you want to exclude.

Grocery stores: A folding table and a couple of colorful posters are all you need to set up an attractive display outside of a grocery store or supermarket. People are going inside to shop, so they have money.

4. Stop dragging when you’ve selected enough numbers. Note that while you’re holding the mouse button down, a tool tip will appear nearby displaying the number you’re up to. If you’ve gone too far, simply mouse back up.

My issue is trying to create small dot labels or equivalent to make up sequential alpha numeric labels to identify each individual item that I have in my shop, retrospectively. I have possibly 6-8thousand individual items that need coding for stock take purposes yet I can find no outlet that supply such thing. Do you have any suggestions. My line is antiques/collectables, predominantly china with items ranging in size from 2-3cm to 5/600cm. I would be most grateful for any solutions or suggestions. Best regards. Pete.

Easy Numbering 123 is named appropriately. I downloaded the software and tried 1 test job. I printed out a bunch of sample tickets with no problem. It’s just one job, but tickets don’t get to complicated so it should work for us too.

Football, Baseball, Raffles, Prom, Graduation the list goes on. The worse part is each is different and has to have x number in this color that color it can be very frustrating. Then to top it off I have the most random number of requested tickets sometimes and it was extremely difficult to find a method that worked and yours did!

Thank you again for your assistance. I took care of the text boxes and everything works quite well. I had some aggravating moments trying to figure out where the \* MERGEFORMAT switch was coming from; I kept deleting it and it kept coming back like a mosquito. I assume it had something to do with the text boxes. Anyway, the document is now a thing of beauty. Thank you.

To save your design, click the Save button. In the pop-up window, create a file name and save to either your free MyAvery online account or to your computer. To go back and open your saved projects, just go to avery.com/print.

After facilitating appropriate modifications, the number in the ticket series will automatically get updated by the system. Another key factor that you have to bear in mind before clicking on the print option is to check whether the tickets are updated without any errors.

I work at sequential numbering quick copy shop as the in house designer. They JUST moved from manual numbering to digital and each job keeps building and getting worse since I brought digital numbering to their attention. I mean it’s super easy if there’s one number but two per ticket and 8 up? It’s hard with limited tools but doable.

Click Print Preview to check the settings. (Publisher 2010 and 2013 does this automatically.) The ticket numbers should increase by one (Figure K) as they do in the Excel sheet. Publisher will generate enough pages to accommodate your entire list of values in Excel.

If the numbers appear to be cut off, adjust the formatting and layout of your publication. For example, you may need to increase the size of the text box that contains the data field for your tracking number, or you might need to decrease the font size of the data field.

Users can find Microsoft Publisher 2010, in the professional edition of Microsoft office suite. This is a special desktop publishing module which can execute a number of errands like design job and lay out tasks for hectic business holders. This saves them a considerable amount of their valuable time and efforts.

Got it to work! I modified my spreadsheet and added a header row with the words “Ticket Number” in field A1. Then I left the checkbox checked when I imported the spreadsheet to Word. That seemed to make it happy. THANK YOU!! This was so helpful!!

For a ‘small society lottery’ (tickets sold in advance), tickets must show the name of the promoting society (and the purpose of the lottery), the ticket price, the name and address of the organiser and the date of the draw.

2. Edit the Template to meet your needs. To replace a template graphic with your own, click the graphic to select it, then hit the ‘Delete’ key. The template graphic disappears. Go to the ‘Insert’ menu, select the picture or clip art command, then browse to the image you want to place on your ticket. Click the image to add it to your raffle ticket.

Homemade Raffle Ticket Generator will cost you NOTHING as long as you have Fiery with Freeform, Word, and Excel .All of which you said you have, and the best part is I have run high numbers doing this and it rips suprisingly fast, much faster then doing it from InDesign.

Running a raffle at events can boost profits, whilst also building links with local businesses. As raffles fall under the terms of the Gambling Act 2005, we asked the Gambling Commission – what do PTAs need to know?

Once you’re sure that the legal bases are covered, you’ll want to be sure that your raffle tickets make running the show easy and successful. Printing your own tickets can help. It could save you money and it gives you complete control over how your tickets look.

I work at a quick copy shop as the sequential numbering in word house designer. They JUST moved from manual numbering to digital and each job keeps building and getting worse since I brought digital numbering to their attention. I mean it’s super easy if there’s one number but two per ticket and 8 up? It’s hard with limited tools but doable.

I normally use “Data Merge” in InDesign and use Excel (or something like it) to generate the list of numbers for me. You would copy the numbers into a text file so that InDesign can read them as the merge data source. Note that you would have one ticket on the page and then let InDesign set the other tickets on the page (you can tell the Data Merge control panel about spacing).

First, create a numbering “list” by choosing Type > Bulleted & Numbered Lists > Define Lists. Then click New to create a new list. You can name it anything you want, but make sure the Continued Numbers across Stories is enabled:

Subsequently you have to select the template named Raffle tickets 6 per page. Microsoft Word will make available a preview of the chosen template and then inquires whether you wish to download the particular template. Now choose the option to download. Consequently your current word document gets replaced with the template of raffle ticket which is ready to undergo editing in your hand.

Now you are ready to begin inserting your data. To make everything easier, please be sure to have your Mail Merge Toolbar visible. You can enable it by going to Tools > Letters and Mailings > Show Mail Merge Toolbar (displayed in step 3 of this document)

Perforate your tickets. Printed tickets are more uniform, so it works in your favour if you’re a little more professional with them. Perforating your tickets means you’ll be able to tear them each off quickly.[8] Perforating tools are spindled wheels that poke holes evenly in a line. Run them between tickets like you would use a pizza cutting wheel. Cut your tickets out into rows and perforate the border between each ticket.[9]

Post office Box Deliveries: UPS will not deliver to Post Office Boxes. We can, however ship your raffle tickets via U.S. Priority mail. The charge for priority mail is $5.00 per 1000 raffle tickets. Add the appropriate charge in the box: “Price for Additional Services add to my order”.

Watch this very brief video tutorial on using an Excel sheets and Microsoft Word raffle ticket templates to create bulk tickets with automate ticket and serial numbers. And how to do basic modifications with raffle tickets.

Compare manufacturing prices.[10] For any sizable raffle (500+ tickets) it is recommended that you buy tickets from a professional company. This will lessen the workload for you, and there won’t be a risk of potential ticket fraud. There are online outlets that specialize in ticket printing.[11][12] Check online for a few of these and compare prices to see which one suits you best.

 – Include any legal wording your local regulations require (in the UK, you’ll probably need a license from your local council, and include details of that on the raffle ticket. More about that here.)

Numbering raffle tickets can be a rough project to tackle without the right tools. Luckily you can number raffle tickets or any other document or form with a desktop publishing software program you may already own like Microsoft Word, Publisher, Adobe Indesign or CorelDraw or any desktop publishing software that has a mail merge function.  Then all that is needed is a program that can create the mail merge file you need to number your tickets like starting number, ending number, prefix and so on. And for that program we suggest Number-Pro.

1. Start Microsoft Publisher. Click inside the small field with the magnifying glass in the middle of the Available Templates page, then type “tickets” and click the magnifying glass icon. Review the Publisher ticket options, then double-click a template, such as “Raffle Ticket,” to open the design in the Publisher window.

Sounds like you have put a “Next Record” field after the final ticket on each page. Because the final ticket is at the end of the page, the number will increment automatically at the end of a page. If you put a ‘Next’ field there too, you’ll jump two numbers. This issue is mentioned in Step 5 above, but maybe I should make it clearer.

Note: By default, Publisher opens the My Data Sources folder first. If you saved your data source in a location other than the My Data Sources folder, browse to the location where you saved your data source.

To make sure people get their prizes, give them lots of room to print their name, address, and phone number. Some people are leery about giving out their address, but do make sure you get a printed name and phone number.

Open your Layers window. If it is not already open, open it by going to (Window > Layers). Rename the layer with the placed pdf ‘Background’ and then create a new layer and name it ‘Numbering’. Lock the ‘Background’ layer. Then select the ‘Numbering’ Layer.

Create the text frame for the numbers in InDesign and if there are more than one ticket per page, link them. Place the text file into the first frame with a shift click to auto flow and create new pages.

Summary: Need to add a unique serial number to each printed copy of your document? Here’s a quick way to print such numbered versions. (This tip works with Microsoft Word 97, Word 2000, Word 2002, and Word 2003. You can find a version of this tip for the ribbon interface of Word (Word 2007 and later) here: Using Sequential Document Serial Numbers.)

Add a page number to it (if you are using labels or cards each is a logical “page”) with Format, Page, Insert Page Number. Insert, Close. This places a [PgNumDisp] code on the label (visible in the Reveal Codes window); you should see a “1” on the label at the insertion point. You can adjust the starting number with the Value/Adjust button, or you can adjust it after the macro is finished (see #5 below).

The trick is this: I creat an ‘template’ of the card, somewhere outside of the page. All object for data are text object, with all the formating needed. In place of the photo is an rectangle. The script read an text file (CSV) with the database, duplicate all template object, one by one and replace string in text object with the string from DB and import photo in place of the rectangle, redimension and convert to RGB or CMYK, acording to the initial data (atach.) When the page is full, create another one.

A basic ticket for a dream home prize draw. Very basic and easy to modify, with ample space for additional details. Two shades of blue/gray with a bright blue information box as well as a smaller orange box. Picture of the house in the corner can be changed to a picture of your prize.

This application creates a data file that can be used with Indesigns Mail/data merge feature that easily allows for numbering raffle tickets and documents and even allows for numbering in multiple locations that is often needed on raffle tickets that require a numbered stud.

I am creating a file in inDesign for a client that is asking for numbered tickets. They’d like to be able to print a specific number for each ticket. I’ve read some of the older answers for similar questions that refer to Data Merge, but I’d prefer not to take that route if avoidable. What I’d ultimately like to do is create a space for the numbers to go, select the number of pages within the Print menu, and have the spaces populate with the corresponding numbers while printing.

So we came up with a way that when each stack was cut they would simply be stack on top of each other. We couldn’t figure out a way to add 8 sets of grouped numbers to 8-up layout so I had to go into the txt file and number it manually. It worked fine but took a little time. Is there an option to pull 8 different sets of numbers to one page? You saved my life! I work at a School Board with 200+ schools and 100+ departments and I have to number every ticket I make.

You don’t have to be a born salesperson to move all your tickets, but the better your sales tactics, the more successful you’ll probably be. Peter Kajanzy teaches how to crush a sale with pro techniques. One bit of advice he offers: When people ask for the price, instead of doing a complex breakdown of one for $2, three for $5, and so on, go straight to “You can buy five tickets for $8.” Generally, you don’t want potential buyers to have to do a lot of math in their heads. Make it easy on them by offering a bundle price. Other tips to help you sell include perfecting your sales pitch:

You can change the numbers in the list by restarting the sequence or by specifying a new start number. You can change the list’s style. You can do anything to this list that you can do to a normal numbered list because it is a numbered list, with one exception: the list, while easy to format, is fixed. If you delete an item, the list updates accordingly, but I haven’t found a way to add numbers.

I have attached a file I am attempting to configure with sequential #’s. I have (I think) placed the switches and other codes correctly, but the numbering is a bit screwy. Will you take a peek and let me know your thoughts?

To use mail merge to create a batch of gift certificates or coupons with tracking numbers, you need to set up a data source that contains a column listing the tracking numbers. If you plan to add only the tracking numbers to your publications, create a data source for the tracking numbers. If you also plan to use mail merge to insert additional information into your publications, such as customer names or addresses, you can add the column of tracking numbers to a data source that also lists the name and address data that you want to use.

I have used their raffle ticket services going on 3 years and they are a pleasure to work with. They made ordering and re-ordering simple and easy and just placed another order. I would recommend them to anyone. Tod G.

Sep 6, – In this tutorial, we’ll explain how to do an easy setup in InDesign for automatically numbered raffle tickets. We will look at the handy “Data Merge Tool,” which is a great time-saver. Let’s jump into this quick tutorial! Step 1. Open a new document in InDesign and deselect Facing Pages, choose a width of 5.5

Since it’s a group of people who have chosen to raise fund using this means the format of the raffle ticket has to be the one agreed upon by the group. The initial stages will thus be those of trial and error as each person will have his/her own opinion of what should be the format and design of the raffle ticket. This site recognizes that such challenges exist and the raffle ticket templates that we offer you will be in a design and format that most if not all of the people will fall in love with. After a certain format is accepted by everyone you will not have to worry about how to come up with new raffle tickets as these can be used over and over again.

Get a suitable type and amount of paper. Consider the paper you’ll be using for the raffle tickets. If you just need very basic, utilitarian raffle tickets, regular printing paper will do just fine. If you want something that leaves a more professional impression, consider buying a heavier weight paper, or a coloured material instead of the standard plain white.

At this point, you’re ready to load your card stock into the printer and print the tickets. I recommend that you preview the print job before sending it to the printer to make sure everything’s in order. To print the tickets, do the following:

My tickets only printed two per page, in the first and third spits of the letter sized page. They did print properly/sequentially ordered however. Any suggestions as to how to get four tickets per page?

Once you are happy with your basic layout, copy everything three times so you have a page of four tickets. At this point, they won’t be numbered tickets just yet, you will add the numbers in a moment:

Microsoft Publisher offers many design tools that let you create any type of publication or document. You can essentially make anything in Publisher, including tickets. The easiest way to make tickets in Microsoft Publisher is to download a ticket template from Microsoft Office’s website and modify it in Publisher with your own text, colors and graphics. These steps can be used for creating tickets in both Microsoft Publisher 2003 and 2007.

Does anybody have an easy way to set up sequential numbering in Coreldraw? Our shop has to lay out unit number plaques for vinyl cutting and sometimes my employee has to manually type in hundreds of numbers. I’ve read all the print merge suggestions for raffle tickets and such but I need the numbers entered into an object and not during the print process.

WordTemplatesBundle.com currently has 6 different templates available for free. Two of them are run-of-the-mill tickets that would be great for things like an office or classroom draw. The other four are the ones that are most helpful as they do automatic serial numbering.

Raffle draws are a fun and exciting way to raise money and can be real party upper. Basically, raffles work when you and a couple others buy raffle tickets (chances) to win a prize or a number of prizes. All the raffle tickets are pooled together, and the game master pulls one or several from the pool.

If you are registered with your local authority to run a ‘small society lottery’, then you need to contact them in case they have specific terms and conditions you must adhere to. If you put back the date of the draw, it will need to take place as soon as practicably possible. You must make every attempt to notify those who have purchased tickets in the lottery/raffle of the change to the draw date. The notification may be through a number of channels including email, a telephone/text message, your website, a newsletter and your local newspaper.

Though you are trying to make sure that you have the best movie ticket template you should customize it to suit the movie that one is going to watch. This will help to match the expectations of those buying them and this might see many coming back for another session. You could attain this more easily by taking a photo of a high or intense moment in the movie to be shown. This site offers you with movie ticket templates that have employed good graphics in their designs and you could customize these to be in line with your movie.

To insert your ticket numbers, first click the area where you want the number to go. Then, click on Insert Merge Fields. A Dialog will pop up and “Numbers” should be selected. Click OK. You should see “<>” inserted into your document. You can insert the <> anywhere you want on the ticket and as many times as you wish.

I’m not sure which version of InDesign first introduced printing Thumbnails like this, but even if yours doesn’t support that, your printer driver may have a similar feature of its own. Check the printer’s own dialog box by clicking “Setup…” near the bottom left corner of the Print dialog and dismissing the warning, then clicking “Preferences…” in Windows’s Print dialog that comes up (I’m not sure how to access this on Mac OS X, but I’m pretty sure there’s an easy way). For instance, on many HP printers, the feature you want is called “Pages per sheet” and has a drop-down offering 1, 2, 4, 9, or 16 pages per sheet.

An ‘incidental non-commercial lottery’ doesn’t require any permissions or licences. These are held at non-commercial events, such as school fêtes. All ticket sales and draws must take place during the event.

You’re selling raffle tickets to make money, so why buy the tickets pre-printed? Using Microsoft Word’s mail merge function, you can create your own raffle tickets and design them any way you please. A mail merge doesn’t have to make mail; it is simply a way to define certainly elements of a document, then automatically insert variable elements, such as raffle ticket numbers. The most important thing to remember is that each ticket needs a mate–you don’t want to pull winning ticket number 81018 only to find that no one bought that one.

Microsoft Publisher, the desktop publishing component of the Professional version of the Office Suite, can perform many time-saving tasks for busy business owners, including layout and design work. It can even help you avoid a shopping run to try to find tickets for your next employee picnic, holiday giveaway or executive board meeting. Create your own tickets, including the vital sequential ordering needed for raffles or attendance tracking, using Publisher’s page numbering. With a few http://ringringpromotions.org manipulations of the page number process, you can start running the numbers in an entirely new fashion.

Thank you!!

Now for the tricky bit. Mail Merges usually have the one ‘recipient’ per page. So Word won’t pick out the next number in your list until it gets to a new page. By default, it’ll print you four tickets on each page, all with the same number. Then a new page, all with the next number. Etc.

13. Click ‘Finish & Merge.’ Choose ‘Edit Individual Documents,’ then select ‘All’ in the ‘Merge to New Document’ box. A new document will open showing every single set of raffle tickets, each with its own number. Check over the document to be sure everything looks right. Alter the page margins if necessary.

Thanks very much for your prompt reply, which reassured me that I was on the right path. From having read various Help topics, I suspected that I’d have to use an Excel data source for the numbers. Fortunately, my knowledge of Excel was good enough to know about the drag and drop facility to create automatic sequential numbering, so the data source creation was easy. In the end, it was the mail merge (no surprises?) which proved a tad tricky, but I got there in the end. I’ve used MM many times and quite happily in Word documents, but for Publisher label format, it was of course a bit different. The important bit that I had to discover for myself was the significance of, after getting to the Print stage, going into Print options, to Publication & Paper Settings, and selecting Multiple Pages per Sheet (& in my case, also “Single-sided” cos my default of duplex printing had come up). But TA-DA!  All is fine now. Thanks very much again.

Thank you for these instructions!! I’m using them to auto number my son’s baseball team raffle tickets which we hand numbered last year (UGH!). I followed the instructions exactly but for some reason the numbering is starting at 2 every time. I did deselect the checkbox about the column headers which seems the obvious culprit. Any ideas? I’m using Word on a PC. Thanks!!

I want to make 300 numbered tickets for an event. The number on one side must match the number on the stub end that is given to the ticket holder. What is the best way to set up a document to do this without having to manually enter 300 numbers?

In trying to produce 300 tickets, I can get all of the first numbered position to be sequential over 100 pages. But, when moving down to the second or third ticket position on the page and setting up the numbering, I repeatedly find that I get a repeat of the first 100 numbers. I am lost as to how to proceed. Is there any other missing step or info that I am assumed to have knowledge about that was not mentioned above? If you know of some other site that might explain this process any better, please post.

Use scissors or a paper cutter to cut the tickets, leaving each set intact. When a person buys a ticket, the seller should separate the tickets right then, giving one ticket to the buyer and dropping the other ticket into the receptacle from which the winning ticket will be drawn.

Generating numbered tickets in Microsoft Word document might seem quite challenging and a taxing task if you are a novel user who is not adept in handling Word documents. You might have made numerous attempts in exploring Word templates and might have been fruitless, depressed and annoyed with all the alternatives and problems that you might have come across while trying to comprehend how to create tickets in Word.

To insert your ticket numbers, first click the area where you http://ringringpromotions.org the number to go. Then, click on Insert Merge Fields. Just download the Raffle tickets with consecutive numbering and matching stubs from the Microsoft Office website. It is a 2003 version and I have Office 2010.   The template has sequential numbering and displays 8 tickets on 2 pages, but I need 3000 tickets.  How do I add more tickets to this document.  I have looked online for tutorials, but most are for starting a ticket from scratch.  Please help!!

You create a numbering macro in Excel. I have mine set-up so I can do multi-up NCR crash numbering and still be able to cut & stack the output. Raffle tickets would be just as easy. PM me with your e-mail and I will send you my excel file.

Can I add Artwork or a Logo? No problem, it only adds $10.00 to the price. Your artwork or logo should be at least 300 dpi. Upload your artwork with your order. You will receive an email proof before your Cheap Raffle Ticket Printing are printed.

You can request us to change the stub ie, instead of Name, Address and Phone ADMIT ONE, name and date of your event. (This is helpful if you are pre-selling your tickets because your seller can retain the stub portion for record keeping. If you prefer no stub, place your order and select “tickets with no stub”. In either case, your proof will show a standard stub but your Admission Tickets will either have no stub or one with the information you requested.

Point of sale reservations and ticket system for theatres, schools, colleges, any venue needing a fast, reliable means of reserving seats and selling tickets. The program includes a customer database, report generation, and inventory control.

It’s faster than manually typing the numbers in but I know there’s go to be someway of automating the process.

You can use Microsoft Office Publisher, Microsoft Office Excel, Microsoft Office Access, Microsoft Office Outlook, or Microsoft Office Outlook with Business Contact Manager to create a data source for your mail merge project. If you want to create a large list of unique, sequential numbers to use as tracking codes for gift certificates or coupons, however, you can use Excel to quickly generate this list.

Selling raffle tickets is a simple and quick way to raise funds for an event or charity. These tickets commonly come in rolls or pre-printed sheets you can purchase from a printing company or an office supply store. But if you would prefer to create your own custom tickets, you can design a raffle ticket template yourself using a word processing or layout program.

Press Ctrl+V for each additional row of labels you want. You want enough rows of labels to meet your entire needs. Thus, if you need a total of 125 labels, and you can get 3 labels per line, you should end up with 42 rows of labels.

If the second number on your raffle ticket is one higher than the first number, you must have accidentally put the <> tag after the first number (causing the next number, on the same ticket, to increase by one). You only need the <> after the second number on each ticket, so the next ticket gets a new number. (But you don’t need it on the final ticket on the **page**, because the next **page** automatically gets a new number)

Measure out your tickets. If you are keeping your raffle fairly small (>50 people), it is just as easy to write up the tickets all by hand. Take a ruler and cut them out in rows and columns so that you have a bunch of tickets of the same size. If you’re making enough tickets in the raffle to be worth several pages of paper, you might try measuring them out and cutting them all at once. However, this time-saving technique shouldn’t be tried unless you know you’ve gotten your measurements down perfectly.

If running a raffle where tickets are NOT sold before the event, this falls under the terms of an ‘incidental non-commercial lottery’. As such, you will not require a licence or any specific permissions. However, you must adhere to the following rules:

Compare manufacturing prices.[10] For any sizable raffle (500+ tickets) it is recommended that you buy tickets from a professional company. This will lessen the workload for you, and there won’t be a risk of potential ticket fraud. There are online outlets that specialize in ticket printing.[11][12] Check online for a few of these and compare prices to see which one suits you best.

CS2 (or earlier) “Cheesy” Numbering There’s an old Steve Martin joke about how to make a million dollars which starts, “First, get a million dollars” That’s the key to this trick, too: First, get a bunch of numbers. Now import or paste those numbers into a thread so that the numbers appear in the right place. If you need two matching numbers, just import it twice. To ensure each number fills its own text frame, select the whole story (Command/Ctrl-A), open the Keep Options (Command/Ctrl-Option/Alt-K) and choose In Next Frame from the Start Paragraph pop-up menu.

Choose the template titled “Raffle tickets 6 per page.” Word will provide a preview of the template and then ask if you would like to download the template. By choosing download, Word will replace your existing document with the raffle ticket template for you to edit.

Good morning! Directions are clear for sure but when i go to merge the first ticket is one but the second number on the raffle ticket is two. i have four sequential numbering tickets per page the first three are messed up but the forth is correct all the way down to 500. Any ideas? i have tried with a header and without a header. i even made the first number with a formula. it does work with out putting next record but like you said it is four tickets with the same number and that would use a ton of ink. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
