I would like to number a voucher book, i have place 4 vouchers on a page, the thing is that i want each of these vouchers to start with different number, 100, 200, 300, 400, and then i want to number them 99 times. The problem is that they have to be numbered only 1 per page, so that when i have printed them all i can easily crop them and staple them right up with having to go through it all.
Stapling and Padding: The charge for stapling in increments of 5,10,15,20 or 25 is $.06 per book. The charge for stapling into books of any other increment is $.09 per book. Now for the tricky bit. Mail Merges usually have the one ‘recipient’ per page. So Word won’t pick out the next number in your list until it gets to a new page. By default, it’ll print you four tickets on each page, all with the same number. Then a new page, all with the next number. Etc.
My issue is trying to create small dot labels or equivalent to make up sequential alpha numeric labels to identify each individual item that I have in my shop, retrospectively. I have possibly 6-8thousand individual items that need coding for stock take purposes yet I can find no outlet that supply such thing. Do you have any suggestions. Fill in the information. Much like making your tickets by hand, you’ll need to input information for the tickets. Because you’re doing it via computer, it will be faster to make the tickets consistent. Write in the basic information into the template you’re using. The individual ticket number can be either written in or sequenced via a program like Microsoft Publisher. Although specifics will vary between raffle events, here are some things you’ll absolutely want on each ticket:
The raffle ticket paper is pre-numbered and pre-perfed and is available in two different sizes (Large Tickets – 2 3/4″ x 8 1/2″, Small Tickets – 2 1/8″ x 5 1/2″) with 20 different paper colors for each size.
Hit the Merge to New Document button on the Mail Merge toolbar. (I don’t advise merging right to the printer. Most of you that are selling raffle tickets don’t want to waste the paper to print them wrong.)

An awesome new feature to has been introduced to Microsoft Publisher 2010 is the ability to use Data Sources to create “Catalogue Pages”. This is like a Mail Merge for design documents. Now, I would have to agree that Publisher isn’t the best graphic design program in the market. But it’s certainly adequate for simple ticket designs — for example, for a school social. Let’s say we want each ticket to have a unique number and an inspiration quote. This is all possible through Publisher and a data source, e.g. an Excel Spreadsheet.
