It depends what the design is for the tickets. But if you set up primary text frames, linked for the area for the numbers, you can create a numbered list with the numbering format you want. Then, just pour in a whole load of paragraph returns that have that numbered list applied. And make sure each numbered paragraph is set to start in the next column.
Please keep in mind that this will delay your order, as we never begin printing until you approve your proof. If you call to request your physical proof after UPS Next Day Air pick up has left, we will not be able to ship the sample sheet the same day. Once you receive your physical proof, please call Customer Support to either confirm your order or cancel. There is no cost to cancel, we will refund your order and you can make the necessary changes to your Design Your Own ticket before resubmitting the order.
Absolutely! Almost anything you print on a Large Format Posters can be easily printed to match your Event Tickets, as well as pretty much any of our other print products. The reverse is true as well: Most of the designs you will find on our ticket templates for Event Tickets, Raffle Tickets, Invitations, and other event collateral, can be printed as a Large Format Poster or Banner, in any size. If the template design cannot be enlarged for a Large Format Poster or Banner, we can create one that will match the theme and look. Customer support (888.771.0809) can provide you with more details on either option.
Creating numbered tickets in Word can seem difficult or even impossible if you are not familiar with all the capabilities of the Word program. If you have tried going to the Word template section and have been unsuccessful or frustrated with all the options and questions, there is an easier way. The simplest resolution for creating numbered tickets is to find existing templates that can be edited and adjusted to fit your needs.
You can leave a line blank on the online template, and that space will remain blank on your finished print product. However, since our templates are standardized and the process is automated, there is no way to add a line of text or to reposition the text without paying for a Custom Ticket order. Just visit our Custom Ticket order page for more information.
Select the Text Tool (T) and start dragging a text box that will wrap around the whole ticket including the crop marks. This is very important since the Data Merge will automatically calculate the duplication. Then open up the Text Frame Option (Command + B) and set the Inset spacing to 1p4 for the top and 1p8 for the left. Of course, you can place the text for the numbers anywhere you like. I set the numbers to a small text.
