We sequentially number all our Event Tickets, Raffle Tickets, Drink Tickets, and VIP Passes to keep your event secure! All you have to do is enter the first number in the line that says "Start Number". If you enter "001" and order 250 tickets the numbering will go from 001 up to 250. If you enter "000" and order 250 tickets the numbering will go from 000 up to 249. For increased security, some of our customers choose larger, random numbers for their start number. This makes it much harder for people to create convincing forgeries.
There’s an old Steve Martin joke about how to make a million dollars which starts, “First, get a million dollars…” That’s the key to this trick, too: First, get a bunch of numbers. Here’s a file with 1,197 numbers in it. Now import or paste those numbers into a thread so that the numbers appear in the right place. If you need two matching numbers, just import it twice.
GREAT tip with lots of uses! Thank you. This will save me hours of work on some tickets I’m designing. However, I also need to set up table tents that have numbers on them. They’re 2-up, and are folded, so each number needs to appear twice on the same page. In short, I want a page with 1/1 and 2/2, and I’m getting 1/2 and 3/4. Am I missing an obvious fix? Thank you.
If you’re producing any kind of numbered items in-house that are multiple-up on a sheet where you need to control all the variables to meet your production needs, the autonumbering feature through numbered lists is the way to go! Just step and repeat away & InDesign will do all the work. No need to fool with a seperate “numbers” file or deal with a data merged document. I think it’s by far the best option for basic numbering.

Peter is correct and for the life of me I can never replicate a ticket the 2nd time. I only do tickets 2-3 times a year. The rest of the time the order is so large I sub it out to tickets printer. My question is how do you place the same list over and over? Let's say the tickets are 3 up and you need 600 tickets. I can see placing the file with #s 1-200 top ticket on the stub, then placing it again for the ticket itself. But wouldn't you need 2 more files: from 201-400 and 401-600 to end up with correct imposition for print, cut, stack?

Yes, we've done our best to make it easy to reorder, even if you need to make some changes. Just click on "My Account" and go to your order history. Click on the template you would like to reorder, and then click the reorder option button. This will take you to a page where you can edit the information you previously used. When you're done, just add the item to your cart.

Note: If you close and reopen your document or look at a preview of the document, it will appear that the CSV has reverted and your leading zeroes were deleted. However, be assured that is not the case. As long as you were able to see the leading zeros at the time you saved the document, your CSV has the leading zeros. It is safe to upload your CSV and your leading zeroes will be preserved.
We print in RGB, so it's best to design the file in RGB color mode. However, there are always slight color differences between the print file, the screen display, and the actual printed product. If you want to make sure the colors will come out right, please call our Customer Service at 888 771 0809 to request a free printed proof. We will put your order on hold and send you one un-perforated and un-cut sample sheet via Fed Ex Overnight at no cost to you.
Our Design Your Own barcodes use code 93; you will need a device that reads to that standard to scan them. You'll also want to make sure that you don't stretch or distort the barcode while you design the rest of your ticket. If you resize it, make sure it stays proportional, or it won't scan. Make sure the area behind the barcode is white, with nothing else printed there. If there is color or text behind the barcode, it won't scan either.
If you've saved it (in a standard file format) we can probably print it! PDF, JPG, GIF, TIF, EPS, INDD, or AI files will all work. Just make sure that your files are saved at 300 DPI (dots per square inch) at 100% print size. This will ensure high quality production. You can email image files to support@ticketprinting.com, or you can use our My Files feature (found in your account online) to upload your files directly to our design team.

Thanks very much for your prompt reply, which reassured me that I was on the right path. From having read various Help topics, I suspected that I'd have to use an Excel data source for the numbers. Fortunately, my knowledge of Excel was good enough to know about the drag and drop facility to create automatic sequential numbering, so the data source creation was easy. In the end, it was the mail merge (no surprises?) which proved a tad tricky, but I got there in the end. I've used MM many times and quite happily in Word documents, but for Publisher label format, it was of course a bit different. The important bit that I had to discover for myself was the significance of, after getting to the Print stage, going into Print options, to Publication & Paper Settings, and selecting Multiple Pages per Sheet (& in my case, also "Single-sided" cos my default of duplex printing had come up). But TA-DA!  All is fine now. Thanks very much again.

Yes, we can! If your original is an 8.5" x 11" or 11" x 17" file with high resolution, we're happy to enlarge your images. Remember that your finished prints may differ slightly from our standard sizes if we have to make adjustments to keep the final product proportional. But don't worry! If exact sizing is and issue, just contact us and we'll do our best to accommodate.
It's not impossible. Please call our Customer Support at 888 771 0809 before finalizing your order. We will verify whether Saturday delivery is available in your area and will adjust your shipping method if possible. If your order ships out Friday, Next Day Air may provide Saturday delivery. If it ships out Thursday, Second Day Air can also provide Saturday delivery. UPS charges an additional fee of $17.50 for Saturday delivery. We strongly recommend that somebody is present at the delivery location to sign for the package.
We ask our customers to approve an electronic version of their proof before we begin processing anything, and we never begin printing until you're satisfied with the proof. It's got to be right before we start! Proofs usually take a day or two to create, depending on how much design and layout work your Event Program requires. If you a want a printed proof, we're more than happy to send it via Next Day Air. Remember, this will delay the start of processing by at least one business day.

Numbered Ticket Printing is possible for digital printing. The ticket can be printed in full or single color for both front and back side, on a 100 lb. paper stock with gloss or matte coating.
