I've described ticket numbering using number lists generated as text files with Data Merge and as ordinary File > Place operations any number of times now. Both of those methods would require only a single list file to add as many instances of the number as you like on each ticket. For Dat merge you add the placeholders in each positon. For an ordinary Place operation you palce the file multiple times into independently threaded frame strings.

Thank you for these clear instructions. I have had the same problem as Mommy Vaughan and followed the suggestion. However, on re-opening the Word document, I have the dialogue box Invalid Merge Field. I have to use Task Manager to close down Word. I am using Word 2010. Maybe that is part or all of the problem. Any ideas please? I need to sort this by tomorrow night to print them on Monday!
Yes, we can! If your original is an 8.5" x 11" or 11" x 17" file with high resolution, we're happy to enlarge your images. Remember that your finished prints may differ slightly from our standard sizes if we have to make adjustments to keep the final product proportional. But don't worry! Yes, we've tried to make it easy to reorder your tickets, even if you want to change them a bit. Simply click on "My Account" and go to your history. Find the ticket you would like to reorder, click on it, and then click on the reorder option button. You will see the screen where you originally filled in your ticket template, and you can make changes there before placing your order.
Economy paper event badges are subject to wear just like any paper product, but the vinyl pouch will protect the badge from damage or wear while in use. Heavy duty card stock badges are heavy enough to punch a lanyard slot in. Synthetic badges are made of durable premium heavy weight 16 mil synthetic stock. The synthetic badges are waterproof and will not tear. Paper or card stock badges will work just fine for short events. If you want your badges to last a long time, you probably want to choose plastic or synthetic.
You’ll need to decide on a selling price. You don’t want to price them too high so that many people would find it too expensive. The lower the price of each ticket, the more tickets you’ll sell. If you price your tickets at $1 each, expect each buyer to purchase from one to five tickets. If your tickets are $5-10 each, each buyer will likely purchase no more that two.
Please keep in mind that this will delay your order. If you call after Fed Ex pick up has left we will not be able to ship the sample sheet the same day. Once you receive your physical proof, please call Customer Support to either confirm or cancel your order. Hello Bruce, I seem to be having a different problem altogether. I created my ticket in word using logos and text boxes as needed, ticket looks great. I followed your very clear instructions but when I did the Finish & Merge I got this message, "You cannot include DATA, NEXT, NEXTIF, or SKIPIF fields in comments, headers, footers, footnotes or endnotes." I then click on OK and get this, "A field calculation error occurred in record 1. Bruce any help would be much appreciated. Thank you!!
The Heat Sensitive Security paper has micro text in green ink on one side, usually the back of the ticket. If you add small text to the back, it might not be readable. If you have a lot of text or an image that covers the whole back of the ticket, it will be printed over the micro text and you will not be able to use the security feature to verify the ticket's authenticity.

If the file is over 5MB you can upload your artwork to "My Files" in your online account. Then select "have a customer support agent contact me about this file." We'll get back to you as soon as we can, within a couple of business days. You can always add notes to any files you upload. Plus, we'll save your files in case you want to use them again in the future!
They really do! Event Badges let you easily identify folks who belong in your event. Staff can tell at a glance whether they are looking at a guest or a gatecrasher! Event Badges can also work as highly visible Event Tickets. You can increase the safety of your event even more when you add security bar codes to each badge. This helps you to prevent fraud: just scan the bar code and you'll know right away whether the badge is legitimate.

By using your favorite spellchecker before you add that text to the template, you can ensure that your product has that professional look. Since we don't offer the option of spell check on templates at this time, you can try typing the text into MS Word or another word processing program, spell check it there, and then just copy the text into the template lines.

Thanks very much for your prompt reply, which reassured me that I was on the right path. From having read various Help topics, I suspected that I'd have to use an Excel data source for the numbers. Fortunately, my knowledge of Excel was good enough to know about the drag and drop facility to create automatic sequential numbering, so the data source creation was easy. In the end, it was the mail merge (no surprises?) which proved a tad tricky, but I got there in the end. I've used MM many times and quite happily in Word documents, but for Publisher label format, it was of course a bit different. The important bit that I had to discover for myself was the significance of, after getting to the Print stage, going into Print options, to Publication & Paper Settings, and selecting Multiple Pages per Sheet (& in my case, also "Single-sided" cos my default of duplex printing had come up). But TA-DA!  All is fine now. Thanks very much again.

For instance, if you want your next batch of tickets to start with 112, you'd open the workbook and change the value 100 to 112, and update the remaining values accordingly.
