I would like to number a voucher book, i have place 4 vouchers on a page, the thing is that i want each of these vouchers to start with different number, 100, 200, 300, 400, and then i want to number them 99 times. The problem is that they have to be numbered only 1 per page, so that when i have printed them all i can easily crop them and staple them right up with having to go through it all.

Create three Numbering Lists, and make sure you check to keep numbering accross multiple stories. Create three text frames, insert just blank space in each and apply numbering format but with different Numbering List selected. Then group text frames with your ticket and you are done. Now simply duplicate group across page and that's it. Numbering will be automatically increased.
You use InDesign or Illustrator and things like variables to increment numbers. Doesn't matter in your case, though. If you really are going to print it with an online service, you will just create a PDF with 300 separate pages/ artboards and could just as well hack in the numbers manualyl or use something liek automatic page numbering to increment them.
By using your favorite spellchecker before you add that text to the template, you can ensure that your product has that professional look. Since we don't offer the option of spell check on templates at this time, you can try typing the text into MS Word or another word processing program, spell check it there, and then just copy the text into the template lines.

In the example I explained, I was using a list, but did it with un-linked text boxes using “continue from previous number” and “continue numbers across stories.” I’m guessing that there is no way to tell InDesign that even though there are 4 text boxes on the page, that there are two different lists? I’d probably have to just create two threaded stories for that scenario to work.
