It’s important to note that the DUNS number is only used to identify your business from Dun and Bradstreet’s database. There are other business credit agencies — Corporate Experian and Equifax Small Business among them — but none of these agencies share data with one another.
When starting a business in Manitoba, a Business Number (BN) may be obtained and assigned as part of a government program’s service delivery to the new company. To get a BN in Manitoba, either owners or representatives of the company must register with or seek service from a government program that is part of the Business Number system and uses the BN as a client identifier.
Use the SEQ field codes for content that has multiple paragraphs grouped under a single number. For example, you may need to write a complex procedure that has several paragraphs for each numbered step. Apply the SEQ field code only to the first paragraph in each step. Do so by clicking to the left of that paragraph, then pressing “Ctrl-F9.” Type “SEQ a”, then press “F9” to close the field. Copy this field code to the clipboard, and then paste it to the next numbered paragraph. Word automatically updates the number.
We recommend you create a print file (the default) and then print the tickets in batches from this saved file, so make sure you include all the tickets needed in this selection. This will only create the Print File, and will not go directly to the printer.
MS version numbers change based on the user ID. Change your name, and you automatically get a new color, and MS word even thinks you’re a new author, so you can turn on/off updates for each revision, as you wish. I find this way more useful than maintaining a color scheme yourself. Just approve all changes in the document after each approved version. You can use the convention ‘Issue 3 Draft A-NP’ (NP are my initials) or NP-Issue 3 Draft A.
Sure, that’s easy! Select the image and drag the black boxes surrounding it to make it larger or smaller. Or, you can enter the precise measurements you’d like your image to be. Be sure to check the “lock proportions” box first if you don’t want to accidentally distort the image.
Document Numbering System – Normally in the EPC Projects, there are several agencies that work. These agencies may includes Vendors, Contractors and Owners. An agency as Vendor – works on several projects concurrently and may have his own document numbering methodologies in his organization. Same is the case with the contractor.

We offer both display options: Plastic badges, synthetic badges, and heavy duty card stock badges can come with a lanyard slot and can be attached to a lanyard with bulldog clip and worn around the neck.
Finally, PrintBox TM14 is free ticketing software created for use by nonprofits. The program allows you to create your tickets in a familiar Microsoft product – Word – using pre-designed templates. The license allows nonprofits to print up to 500 tickets for free. This is perfect if you’re running a smaller event or your first event. The program operates as an add-in with its own toolbars.
Pantone and PMS are terms often used in the printing industry to refer to the PANTONE® MATCHING SYSTEM® — a trademark of Pantone, Inc., a subsidiary of X-Rite, Inc. The PANTONE MATCHING SYSTEM is the definitive international reference for selecting, specifying, matching and controlling ink colors. This system is often used as a way to specify an exact color, such as a corporate identity color.

The Heat Sensitive Security paper has micro text in green ink on one side, usually the back of the ticket. If you add small text to the back, it might not be readable. If you have a lot of text or an image that covers the whole back of the ticket, it will be printed over the micro text and you will not be able to use the security feature to verify the ticket’s authenticity.
I’m not sure which version of InDesign first introduced printing Thumbnails like this, but even if yours doesn’t support that, your printer driver may have a similar feature of its own. Check the printer’s own dialog box by clicking “Setup…” near the bottom left corner of the Print dialog and dismissing the warning, then clicking “Preferences…” in Windows’s Print dialog that comes up (I’m not sure how to access this on Mac OS X, but I’m pretty sure there’s an easy way). For instance, on many HP printers, the feature you want is called “Pages per sheet” and has a drop-down offering 1, 2, 4, 9, or 16 pages per sheet.
Below are 15 printable ticket raffle templates which are easy to use and customize. You’ll find choices for basic business types and kid-themed tickets as well as templates for multiple prize options. Simply find a raffle ticket template that you like and that fits your overall purpose, and make the necessary changes. It’s all that easy. You might have to take a trial-and-error approach to DIY printable raffle tickets, but once you get the hang of the process, you can use the same format as much as you like. How do you go about sequentially numbering for your raffle tickets? You can do sequential numbering manually, or you can use Microsoft Excel in a mail-merge type of operation. If you’re not sure how to go about the mail-merge, the directions are above in the Template Design File section. Once your tickets are printed, then comes the task of cutting and perforating the tickets so that you can easily tear the ticket from the stub. It’s not as hard as you might think. With a full-size paper cutter and an inexpensive tracing wheel, you can easily complete this part of the job. To make it a community effort, get help from your fundraising colleagues. A morning spent on this task — with the enticement of coffee and doughnuts — will fly by when you’re having fun with other people.
Other benefit would be the speed in which we can turn over a job, since digital printing has a low setup time. We can produce jobs in a much quicker fashion than by using other conventional printing methods.
When you choose a numbering format or use Word’s default, it not only provides you with numbering settings (1,2,3 or A,B,C, etc), you also receive other formatting as well such as indents and tabs. In order to satisfy different user’s styles of numbering, you may need to customize the list accordingly.
However, if your business does not have a DUNS number it can obtain one for free (takes 30 days) or via paid service such as credit builder for faster delivery (5 business days). Prior to obtaining a DUNS number the first thing you should do is check to see if your company already has one issued.
It depends: if you order Vinyl Stickers, there is no difference in pricing. Color printing costs just the same as black and white. Color Economy Stickers cost slightly more than black and white ones, but the price for color ink includes full color printing, so you can have as many colors as you want!
Enter the maximum number of rows that are available to print the sales order header attachment. If the document is defined as a one-page document, then the value in this field must be less than the value in the Detail Section Total Number of Rows field.
If otherwise, IMO the choice should particularly depend on who’s going to do the “legwork”. If you have a team spreading the load feel free to be as creative as you like. If you are a 1-man documentation system which has been my experience, go for a a procedure which minimises the effort. IMO/EX this is usually the least software has a very flexible and user configurable design to accommodate different industries that have different requirements for numbering schemes. The purpose of this white paper is to help describe all the ways the document management software can help solve the business problem of uniquely numbering and Versioning documents.
Yep. If you just need an extra line for an existing phone, you can set your local phone number to immediately send all calls there. Many of our customers choose this option to get a second phone number for their mobile phone to keep their business and personal calls separate.

This is a great thread and very timely as I’m about to write a short document around file and folder taxonomy for a PMO team. I’ve always been a bit nerdy about file naming protocols as it drives me to distraction when I can’t find a document – bit like looking through an untidy draw for an elusive item. Well named documents are a cinch to find and I’m well in favour of the Tony’s suggestions above but would also include a date indicator using the YYYYMMDD format to ensure that all docs are in a chronological order. I also use words rather than letters i.e DRAFT, BASELINED etc for clarity. My preference for revisions to a baselined document is to the use the current version i.e. v1.0 and add minor increments 1.1, 1.2 etc until all changes approved and then baseline it at the next major increment i.e. v2.0. There’s an excellent example of document naming protocols applied specificallly to an organisaiont (a uni in this case) which I thought worth sharing: http://www.ed.ac.uk/records-management/records-management/staff-guidance/electronic-records/naming-conventions.
We’ve got all your basic shapes! Economy Stickers can be printed as squares or rectangles, and Vinyl Stickers can be square, rectangular, circular, or ovals. Check out this handy dandy chart for our full range of standard sizes:
A basic ticket for a dream home prize draw. Very basic and easy to modify, with ample space for additional details. Two shades of blue/gray with a bright blue information box as well as a smaller orange box. Picture of the house in the corner can be changed to a picture of your prize.
Document control number fields are created and modified in the “Library Administration” section of FileHold. Therefore the creators must have at least Library administration rights. Once a document control number schema is created, users can create new document and a new and unique document control number will be automatically allocated.
