Professional businesses use custom carbonless forms also known as NCR forms in their daily functions to stay organized and efficient. Data forms, invoices, contracts, receipt books and other custom business forms usually require an original and a copy or two that get filed or distributed to different departments and another copy for the customer. Carbonless forms provide this function efficiently and reduce the amount of writing or typing by passing the information into the copies below. No need to run to the copy machine to make copies anymore!

OK Paul, I am a super dummy when it comes to macros; do I open the original file and select cell F12 then record the macro there? I have never worked with macros; understand how they work but not sure how to apply them!

You can enter any piece of text or numbering into the Document Numbering field. For example, if you wanted to have a document number of “Example 1, Example 2, Example 3…” etc., then the Document Numbering field should read as follows: “Example [number]” (without the inverted commas).
This is a great thread and very timely as I’m about to write a short document around file and folder taxonomy for a PMO team. I’ve always been a bit nerdy about file naming protocols as it drives me to distraction when I can’t find a document – bit like looking through an untidy draw for an elusive item. Well named documents are a cinch to find and I’m well in favour of the Tony’s suggestions above but would also include a date indicator using the YYYYMMDD format to ensure that all docs are in a chronological order. I also use words rather than letters i.e DRAFT, BASELINED etc for clarity. My preference for revisions to a baselined document is to the use the current version i.e. v1.0 and add minor increments 1.1, 1.2 etc until all changes approved and then baseline it at the next major increment i.e. v2.0. There’s an excellent example of document naming protocols applied specificallly to an organisaiont (a uni in this case) which I thought worth sharing: http://www.ed.ac.uk/records-management/records-management/staff-guidance/electronic-records/naming-conventions.
We can offer to cut the standard 3-business day processing time to two business days if you’re willing to pay an additional 25% of the order cost, or even to one business day for 50% of the order cost, although larger or stapled orders will still increase processing time.
Grocery stores: A folding table and a couple of colorful posters are all you need to set up an attractive display outside of a grocery store or supermarket. People are going inside to shop, so they have money.

Having your event tickets professionally printed for your special occasion can add a sense of authenticity and exclusivity. Admission tickets can include the date and time of the event, the address, your company’s logo, and even special promotional offers. These vouchers can be printed in spot PMS colors, or full color on one side or both. There is also the option to add a perforation on the side or have the tickets numbered to help keep track of how many people attend your gathering.
I am using your instructions to create a page of tickets – the design has been created as a picture so I added a text box to “hold” the mail merge instructions but I keep getting the error message “You cannot include DATA, NEXT, NEXTIF, or SKIPIF fields in comments, headers, footers, footnotes or endnotes.” I have not included any of these but I’m wondering if it’s because I’ve attempted to insert it in a text box. Is there an easy way to do this? TIA
It depends: booklet size depends on the weight of your card stock. If you choose the heavy weight white card stock, 10 tickets per book is the maximum. For medium weight colored card stock, we can staple as many as 15 tickets per book. With the medium weight office paper in white, we can staple a maximum of 25 tickets in a book.
