I am getting my tickets to number on one side of it. However, I am needing my tickets to have the number on each side, but one side will not number. I have tried several times and it will not number on both sides. I am using an avery template that is printing 10 tickets per page, stub and tearable ticket. But the stub will not number while the tearable ticket will.

i’ve had to do tons of this lately and found that for the amounts of tickets being done (e.g. 7000 x 10 tickets + cover & mailer) that chuckT’s solution almost 2 years ago is similar to what i use. would be interested to know if others doing similar VDP are using a wholly indesign/excel solution, or if specific VDP software such as XMPie are being used.
GREAT tip with lots of uses! Thank you. This will save me hours of work on some tickets I’m designing. However, I also need to set up table tents that have numbers on them. They’re 2-up, and are folded, so each number needs to appear twice on the same page. In short, I want a page with 1/1 and 2/2, and I’m getting 1/2 and 3/4. Am I missing an obvious fix? Thank you.

This depends. The standard font styles, sizes, colors, and sizes available for each template are preset: that's just another way that online ticket templates save you money. By using your favorite spellchecker before you add that text to the template, you can ensure that your product has that professional look. Since we don't offer the option of spell check on templates at this time, you can try typing the text into MS Word or another word processing program, spell check it there, and then just copy the text into the template lines.

Actually, you can purchase online tickets in any quantity over 50. We've replaced our drop down quantity lists with text boxes where you can enter just the number of tickets that you need. Most of our online templates are available in any quantity over 50 items. However, Posters and Flyers can be ordered in quantities as low as 5. Since our per item price drops as your order gets bigger, in many cases, you can order more items for the same price.

I am using your instructions to create a page of tickets - the design has been created as a picture so I added a text box to "hold" the mail merge instructions but I keep getting the error message "You cannot include DATA, NEXT, NEXTIF, or SKIPIF fields in comments, headers, footers, footnotes or endnotes." I have not included any of these but I'm wondering if it's because I've attempted to insert it in a text box. Is there an easy way to do this? TIA
